Today, over half a century later, we reflect and honor, the company has branched out into six companies establishing a foothold in various pharmaceutical functions like sales, marketing, distribution, C & F, education etc, thereby becoming India’s pioneer company with a complete presence in the industry.

Started by Mr. Ram Swaroop Bansal in 1971 as a wholesale medical business, Shree Laxmi soon established Shree Laxmi Medical Agencies. As the business grew and more pharmaceutical companies started being distributed under the Shree Laxmi banner, Shree Laxmi Medical Distributors was formed in 1981, with a larger space and manpower strength. The next sixteen years saw consistent growth in the business and Shree Laxmi successfully added more and more brands under its distribution channel. The years of excellence in the distribution channel culminated in a breakthrough in 1997 as the C & F agent for Zydus Cadilla Healthcare Limited in Rajasthan. As a result, Shree Laxmi Enterprises was formed. The turn of the century saw a phenomenal change in the education industry and there was a huge demand for good colleges offering courses in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 2003, The Mahatma Gandhi College of Pharmaceutical Science was established in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The years of experience and confidence gained therefrom, we ventured into the marketing space and launched the Laures Pharmaceuticals in 2009. In 2011, we took over Curosis healthcare, thereby increasing our market base. Currently Shree Laxmi operates in 5 states in India and aspires to establish itself as a leading brand globally with presence in all leading countries.
